Our vision is to be an international (cross-cultural) community of people living passionately for Jesus Christ, with a desire for the Church to be what it was intended to be.
Our mission is to equip believers to be authentic, Holy Spirit empowered and functional disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ.
OUR CORE VALUES:
Values are critical to the existence of any ministry and they are key to its success or failure. They reflect what is important and define God's heart for a particular ministry.
At Calvary Christian Fellowship:
1. We value Commitment: Excelling on whatever we put our hands to do.
2. We value Fellowship: Koinonia = Close relationships among ourselves.
3. We value Relevance: Staying current and in touch with reality.
4. We value Accountability: Responsibility to one another and to God.
5. We value Same Mindedness: Unity in diversity.
These values will shape the culture of our fellowship.

Welcome to our home on the Net!
We are an international ministry located on the East side of Columbus Ohio. Come worship and fellowship with a group of people who are passionate and serious about being followers of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Calvary Christian Fellowship Assembly of God (CCF) is a vibrant ministry committed to lifting up the name of Jesus and touching lives with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are a culturally diverse church in the Berwick community of Columbus and are determined to reach our community and beyond as is commissioned in Mark 16:15.
We are a loving, family friendly congregation, ministering to children, youth, men, and women through our various ministries and community outreach. Our mission is to share the gospel with those who dont know Jesus as their Lord and Savior (John 3:16), equip believers to be authentic; Holy Spirit empowered, and balanced disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Our theme this year is Setting the Stage for your Miracle, through prayer and giving of your time and tithe for the glory of God. Everyone has a place in the Body of Christ, regardless of race, nationality, background, social status, or even religious affiliation. Come as you are!
ARTICLES OF FAITH = WHAT WE BELIEVE
1. The Scriptures Inspired: The Bible is inspired; the only infallible and authoritative Word of God (2Tim 3:15-17, 1Thes 2:13, 2Pet 1:21)
2. The One True God: There is One God, eternally existent in Three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit (Deut 6:4, Mt 28:19, Lk 3:22).
3. The Deity of Jesus Christ: The Lord Jesus Christ is fully God; the Son of God who became man through the virgin birth. He lived a perfect life, performed miracles, died a vicarious and atoning death. He was buried, rose from the dead, ascended to the right hand of God the Father (Mt 16:16, 1Cor 15:3, 4).
4. The Fall of Man: Man was created good and upright, but voluntarily fell into sin, thereby incurring not only physical death, but also spiritual death, which is separation from God. Sin is the ultimate cause of all the problems we face in the world (Gen 1:26f, 2:17, 3:6, Rom 5:12-19).
5. The Salvation of Man: Man?s only hope is redemption through the shed blood of Jesus Christ the Son of God. The only means to salvation is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ (Lk 24:47, Eph 2:8).
6. The Ordinances of the Church: There are two ordinances of the church: water baptism and the Holy Communion. Baptism is by immersion in water, symbolizing death of old life and rising to new life in Christ (Rom 6:4). The Holy Communion consists of bread and the fruit of the vine, in memorial of Christ?s death, and looking forward to His return (1Cor 11:26).
7.The Baptism in the Holy Spirit: The baptism in the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential in Christian life, to be effective and productive witnesses of Christ (Ac 1:8).
8. The Initial Physical Evidence of Holy Spirit baptism: Speaking in tongues is the initial physical evidence of the baptism of the Holy Spirit (Ac 2:4).
9. Sanctification: Sanctification is a process of separation from that which is evil, and dedication to God. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, believers are enabled to live a holy life (1Pet 1:15, 16).
10. The Church & Its Mission: The church is the body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Holy Spirit, with divine appointments for the fulfillment of her great commission. Each believer, born of the Spirit, is an integral part of the church (Eph 2:19-22).
11. The Ministry: The Lord Jesus has called and ordained ministry for leading the church in (1) evangelizing the world (Mk 16:15-20), (2) worshiping God (Jn 4:23f), and (3) building a body of saints perfected in Christlikeness (Eph 4:11, 16).
12. Divine Healing: Divine healing is an integral part of the Gospel, and is provided for in the Atonement (Isa 53:4, 5).
13. The Blessed Hope: The blessed hope is the imminent return of Christ for the church (1Thes 4:16, 17).
14. The Millennium: The blessed hope will be followed by a visible return of Christ with His saints to reign on the earth for a thousand years. This millennial reign will bring the salvation of Israel and establish universal peace (Rom 11:26, Rev 20:4-6).
15. The Final Judgment: There will be a final judgment, in which whosoever is not found in the Book of Life will be thrown into the lake of fire, together with the devil and his angels. That is the second death (Rev 19:20 & 20:11-15).
16. The New Heaven & New Earth: We look forward to the New Heavens and the New Earth, where righteousness dwells (Rev 21:1ff).
From the Pastor's Desk...
It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing unto thy name, O Most High. Psalm 92.1
It’s the time of year in the United States of America where families travel thousands of miles to have a meal with other family members, college students go home to be with their parents, churches and nonprofit organization take meals to the shut ins and those in shelters, and churches emphasize the importance of giving thanks. All in an effort to celebrate “Thanksgiving”.
Thanksgiving is not just eating, or having a social gathering rather it should be a time to give God thanks for all the things He has done for us. The psalmist says in Psalm 92, “it is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord”. Giving thanks is not a bad thing or an evil thing rather a good thing especially when you’'re giving thanks to God.
To say thanks to someone you must be intentional, so be deliberate and give God thanks for the things He has done for you. Don’t say thanks silently; shout it from the mountain top; boast about the goodness of your God. Thank Him for the good times and the bad times; thank Him in anticipation for blessings.
I have so much to give God thanks for, first for my wife, Marcia and Kids and calling me to the ministry. My heart is overwhelmed with joy because of the Lord’s Goodness and Favor. I am honored to be appointed by Pastor John Wootton, Superintendent of the Ohio Ministry Network of the Assemblies of God and the Executives, to serve as the Senior Pastor of Calvary Christian Fellowship (CCF) Assembly of God. Thanks to Pastor Jim Palmer, Executive Secretary for officiating the installation service and encouraging us to do what is good according to Word of God.
Thanks to all the members of Calvary for the support you have given me as I served you during the transition and your continued support as we blaze the trail for Jesus. We have begun another phase in the history of this church so let us purpose in our hearts to do the will of our Father.
Thanks to all the Pastors, my Aunts, Pinky and Linda, my father-in-law – Mr. Hodge for being able to come and celebrate this moment with me, my family and Calvary Christian Fellowship.
Remember in everything give thanks for this is the will of God; for this is the will of God… Thessalonians 5: 18.
God bless you!

How can I become a member of CCF?
Separated by Sin:
We have a problem. Our sin separates us from God, leaving us spiritually empty.
Romans 3:23
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
Romans 10:9
That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
It is impossible for us to find peace with God through our own efforts. Anything we try to do to obtain God's favor or gain salvation is worthless and futile.
A Gift from God:
Salvation then, is a gift from God. He offers the gift through Jesus, his Son. By laying down his life on the cross, Christ took our place and paid the ultimate price, the penalty for our sin -- death. Jesus is our only way to God.
John 14:6
"Jesus told him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me."
John 3:16
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
Ephesians 2:8
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God--
To accept the gift of Salvation - Repeats the prayer below. The Salvation Prayer (sometimes referred to as the sinners Prayer) below, isnt any official prayer but rather a sample prayer to follow when asking Jesus into your heart. You can pray to God in your own words.
PRAYER FOR SALVATION
"Lord Jesus, I need You. I recognize that I have not lived my life for You up until now. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my heart and receive You as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Make me the kind of person You want me to be." I will follow You all the days of my life. I ask this in Jesus' precious and holy name. Amen."
Youve just made the most important decision of your life!
